What it is.
The Pilates class draws from classical Pilates and adds contemporary movement. The work is deliberate: breath, alignment and control rather than speed. You will lengthen and strengthen at the same time.
The room is heated to 88 degrees. Bring a yoga mat and a towel — towels are also provided at check-in. You can practice barefoot or in grippy socks.

What should I bring to Pilates?
A yoga mat and a towel are the only mandatory items. Towels are provided at check-in. You can go barefoot or wear grippy socks. Lockers, showers and toiletries are available so you can leave your things and focus on the class.
Is the room really heated?
Yes — the studio lists its Pilates classes as heated to 88 degrees. Bring water and dress for a warm room.
I have never done Pilates. Is that okay?
Yes. The class is open to all levels and the instructor offers options. Arrive 15 minutes early and tell them it is your first class.
Can I combine Pilates with another class?
Many members do. Spin, Sculpt and Pilates × Sculpt are all on the same schedule, and the studio plans classes so you can move from one to the next. Check the booking page for the current timetable.
